John Hopfield receives Nobel Prize in Stockholm
Dec. 10, 2024

Princeton’s John Hopfield, the 2024 Nobel laureate in physics, received his Nobel Prize medal and diploma Tuesday, Dec. 10, at the Nobel Prize Award Ceremony in Stockholm. The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences announced his Nobel Prize Oct. 8, and Hopfield returned from abroad to a hero’s welcome on campus three days later.

Jared Toettcher named a 2024 Allen Distinguished Investigator

The Paul G. Allen Family Foundation awarded Jared Toettcher funding to investigate the biological principles that govern fundamental cellular functions. He is one of just 14 researchers from around the world to receive this award this year.
