At this time, you are no doubt starting to consider assignments of graduate student Assistants-in-Instruction (AIs) for next fall. AIs play a variety of important roles in undergraduate education, from teaching precepts, to grading, to teaching laboratories.
With hiring season upon us, I draw your attention to our Domestic and International Moving Policy for faculty. It goes without saying that moving is very stressful and we are committed to doing all we can to make our new hires feel welcomed. Our goal is to provide the most flexibility during this stressful time by offering options that allow for greater choice in selecting a moving company while alleviating the need for a significant cash outlay by the new faculty member.
This year, salary increases will be finalized after the Board of Trustees Meeting on June 5. After the increases are finalized they will be uploaded into PeopleSoft and on June 14, you can begin entering summer salary recommendations into Labor Accounting for faculty in your department.
