Bio/Description

As Senior Assistant Dean for Postdoctoral Affairs, Alice is responsible for processes related to professional researchers and specialists. This includes appointments, reappointments, leaves, and parental extensions. In addition, Alice serves as the ODOF liaison with the University postdoctoral community.

Alice previously worked at Rutgers University as a mathematics instructor and as a director of the Learning Centers. Before working in higher education, Alice was a mechanical engineer for Hewlett Packard for several years. Alice received her B.S. and M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Tufts University, her M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Rutgers University, and her Ph.D. in Mathematics Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. She also spent a year at the Universität Paderborn in Germany as a Fulbright scholar.

To unwind, Alice enjoys reading and horseback riding.
