Bio/Description

Hema Suri, Financial Analyst, is responsible for all financial transactions and activities pertaining to faculty related recruitment & retention, salary review process, summer salary approval, and management of contract pay, override pay and additional pay.  She participates in expenditure planning, fiscal year-end close, and reporting to the Finance & Treasury Budget Office. Additional responsibilities include budget analysis, management of Endowed Funds / Non-Operating Budget and Labor Accounting.

Prior to joining Princeton University, Hema held various positions at Rutgers University for over ten years, the last being Director (Budget & Finance) for Mason Gross School of the Arts.  In this position, she was responsible for the development, implementation, and administration of budgets for the entire school and regular day-to-day business operations related to personnel, payroll, and purchasing.

Hema holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Science.  Outside of work, she likes travelling and designing Indian ethnic wear.
