Bio/Description

As academic coordinator in the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, Nana Sam works directly with the associate deans for academic affairs and assistant deans for academic affairs on a variety of faculty and research matters. These include junior faculty searches, junior faculty and lecturer appointments, program directorships and executive committee appointments, sabbatical leaves, workload relief, extensions of term, the President’s Award for Distinguished Teaching, and visiting professorships for distinguished teaching. She also provides support for the C9 and Promotion, Continuing Appointment and Review committees. 

Prior to joining the Office of the Dean of the Faculty, Nana worked at the Educational Testing Service as an IT services coordinator. She has a Bachelor of Science in design from the University of Science and Technology, Ghana. 

Outside of work Nana enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
