Bio/Description

Rayna Truelove is the inaugural associate dean for diversity and inclusion. She is responsible for carrying out policies and initiatives focused on diversity and inclusion in the Office of the Dean of the Faculty (ODoF) while advancing the University’s strategic commitment to academic excellence. She supports search officer and search committee chair training to implement fair and inclusive practices according to University policies during recruitment of faculty and academic professionals. She contributes to the campuswide climate of inclusion with various initiatives and programs.

Before joining ODoF, Rayna was the associate dean for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the Princeton School of Public and International Affairs, and before that, served as assistant dean for access, diversity, and inclusion in Princeton’s Graduate School.

She holds a doctorate from Brown University and a Bachelor of Science from Trinity University in San Antonio, both in neuroscience. In her free time, Rayna enjoys eating great food, travel, and spending time exploring the New Jersey area with her family.
