Long Term Disability

Faculty members are eligible for University-paid long term disability insurance as of their date of hire.   Under this plan, a faculty member who qualifies for long-term disability payments will receive a monthly sum that, together with benefits derived from Social Security and/or Worker's Compensation programs, will equal 66.67 percent of base salary at the onset of the disability, up to a maximum benefit of $15,000 per month.
